Company legal protection

The aim of company legal protection insurance is to avert costly claims from all stakeholders such as employees, suppliers, customers or landlords. The more complex the business world becomes, the greater the risk of being prosecuted for wrong steps. Legal protection insurance covers the costs of a lawyer and the court costs. Either the lawyer is provided by the insurance company or the company may provide a lawyer of its choice. The coverage varies depending on the area and company (e.g. CHF 500,000 to 1 million for disputes arising from business activities, contractual legal protection CHF 150,000, etc.)

Legal protection insurance also helps to clarify legal issues, even if no claim has (yet) been made.
